About me

A writer, lecturer, group facilitator, social worker, and activist.

I graduated from the School of Social Work at Tel Aviv University, after completing my B.S.W., M.S.W., and Ph.D. I continued to a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in sociology at the University of Toronto.

I am also a certified group leader (graduated from the two-year group facilitation program, the School of Social Work, Tel Aviv University). I have conducted conflict groups (Israeli-Palestinians), anti-racism for youth and teachers, and lead youth-at-risk support and skills groups.

My research focuses on individual attitudes, institutionalized racism in Israel and anti-Semitism in North America. I have taught these subjects at several academic institutions, and have also set up groups that help sub-social-groups cope with perceived racism and groups that raise awareness of racism and racist attitudes in particular.

Since the age of 16, I have been involved in promoting social change; among the rest, I volunteered at ‘Amnesty international,’ ‘Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel’, New Israel Fund and more.

my passion is in writing. Reading. Running. Spinning. Yoga.

I love drinking coffee in small cafes. Walking the streets of Toronto in the spring and all year round on Tel Aviv’s beach. These days I am getting used to New York suburbs.
